Italian Vacation
Spending your honeymoon and wedding in Italy is a fabulous idea. The next step is to choose a date. Choosing the date depends from what couples prefer, and some advice may be helpful and useful.
The best season in Italy is from April till mid of July. People say it is best to trip in either May or September when the weather isn't really hot, the wait in line aren't as long and everything is a little cheaper. The end of the July and August are too hot and the temperature goes up to 80-s. Also August is the vacation time in Italy - "Ferragosto". Everything goes very slow and everybody tend to be with no rush and relaxing.
It`s an old tradition to celebrate Ferragosto. It goes to the Roman times. Since that time I Modern Italians prefer to go on seacoast at that time; and for that reason during holidays it a lot of traffic on the roads, which lead to seacoast. In addition best hotels on sea are booked.
Also visitors say that in high season it’s very crowded in Italy. But it’s difficult to say when it’s not. Rome is very popular place and it’s always lines in St. Peters Basilica or Vatican Museum. Fortunately the line in the Vatican goes fast, but in St. Peters not so. Crowds on the streets and hard traffic are a part of Rome landscape. There are famous “Lively Roman streets”!
Servicers in Italian café are always immediate, but they are slightly slowly, than in USA. Everything is a little beet time-consuming in Italy. People enjoy the moments there. Italian dishes in difference from fast food are not made for rush.
In the low season it’s possible to find good deals on the discounted hotels. It usually occur on March, November, wintertime. Unfortunately discounts are not valid during Easter Holidays and New Year's Eve. Also cut rates are available for ISIC Card Holders and ITIC Card Holders students.
